We are a mission congregation of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and the North Carolina Synod of the ELCA and the Moravian Church Southern Province. Our funding comes from the generous support of our churchwide organizations, our synod (local region), and mission partners. These mission partners include both congregations and individuals.
The challenging reality of a faith community like The Dwelling is the difficulty of reaching financial stability from the weekly offerings collected. However, we are a community highly invested in giving- both of ourselves, our gifts, our time, and when able, our financial resources.
However, the life we share as a community of faith is both dependent and immensely grateful for the financial gifts of our partners.
